The Under-12 Football Festival, jointly organised by Creative Football School and BUET Poribesh Committee, got underway at the BUET Staff Quarter field yesterday. Six teams are participating in the round robin basis event. The top four teams will move to play in the semi-finals while the final is scheduled on July 29. Creative Football School is run by renowned football coaches Maruful Haque , Saiful Bari Titu, former national footballers Ataur Rahman Khan, Imtiaz Ahmed Nakib, Jewel Rana and Aminul Haque in a bid to create a competitive mentality among the young players. Creative Football School opened in September 2011 with 48 young players learning the basics of football. The players are divided into two age groups and given free training.
