Argentina's World Cup winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has confirmed his visit to Bangladesh in the first week of July through his verified facebook page Monday.
The Golden Glove winner of the Qatar World Cup 2022 will land in Dhaka on July 3 in his first ever visit to Bangladesh before traveling to Kolkata, India the following day, informed sports promoter Satadru Dutta earlier.
“Hello Everybody, I will be doing my maiden trip to Indian subcontinent from 3rd July to 5th July and will participate in many charitable activities including visiting as a chief guest for a charity football match at Mohunbagan club, many fan engagement programs, sponsors felicitation and promote the beautiful game. I know Kolkata and Bangladesh has huge Argentina fans and I am very excited to meet them.” Martinez said in the post.
The Aston Villa custodian added, “Thank you Satadru for this initiative! Ami tomader bhalo bhashi!”
