Bangladesh Football Federation has formed a seven-member special investigation committee to probe general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag's ban by Fifa.
They will have a month to submit the report.
The members are four vice-presidents - Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Imrul Hasan, Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi and Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan - and executive members Zakir Hossain, Satyajit Das Rupu and Ilias Hossain.
Abdus Salam Murshedy, BFF's senior vice president and finance committee chairman, said Nabil will chair the investigation committee.
Murshedy informed that in addition to Fifa's ban, Shohag has been suspended for life by BFF, and that other individuals will also be punished if found guilty by the probe committee.
These decisions were taken in an emergency meeting of the BFF's executive committee Monday evening.
