The draw program of the Walton-Dhaka Tribune World Cup Football Quiz was held at the Dhaka Tribune office in the capital's Panthapath Sunday where former Bangladesh football team captain Mamunul Islam was present as the special guest.
The lucky winners will now be contacted via the numbers they have provided before the prizes are distributed at a later date.
The nine first round winners are accordingly - A Rahman, Sharif from Noakhali, Rokeya Begum from Mohakhali, Sharika from Mohakhali, Mohammad Arafat, Mohammad Rabbi from Mohakhali, Mohammad Sunny, Rabeya Arif from Manik Nagar and Yeasin Akter from Sabujbagh.
The nine second round winners are respectively – Tanzina from Feni, Apon, Elias from Ramganj, Akhi from Noakhali, Araf Uddin from Dhaka, Shanta from Banani, A Rahman, Sumon from Motijheel and Al Hasan Ruhani from Kamalapur.
The two rounds of quizzes were run in Dhaka Tribune's daily newspaper throughout the Fifa World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Also present at the draw ceremony were, among others, Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Walton's Deputy Executive Director (PR, Media & Branding), SM Atikur Rahman Roman, Walton's Additional Director (PR, Media & Branding), Shamsul Areefin, Dhaka Tribune's Head of Advertisement (Private), Md. Razib Hossain, Dhaka Tribune's Senior Executive, and the Dhaka Tribune Sports team.
