Abahani looking for European or Latin coach

Dhaka Abahani, determined to wipe away memories of failures of current season, wants to come out strong next season and is all set to add European or Latin flavour in the coaching section. Abahani, who failed to win a title this year, was coached by Ardehir Pournemat, who had replaced fellow Iranian colleague Ali Akbar Parmoslemi, but Pournemat failed to inspire the traditional powerhouses. Kazi Nabil Ahmed, the director of Abahani revealed the plans yesterday. “We have analysed the scenario and we think an efficient coach is a big factor towards moving to the ultimate success.  Abahani will look out for a European or a Latin coach next season and will form a strong team,” said Nabil. Nabil added that at the start of the season there will be a physiotherapist to aid the players fitness and ensure everyone is ready for the tough season ahead.
