President of the top-flight premier league outfit Bashundhara Kings, Imrul Hasan has tested Covid-19 positive and is currently under treatment at the capital’s Evercare Hospital.
Since their inception in the domestic football arena, the Kings have been impressive, winning the Bangladesh Premier League and other tournaments, under the guidance of Spanish head coach Oscar Bruzon and Imrul.
Imrul was re-elected one of the four vice presidents of the Bangladesh Football Federation in the 2020 BFF Election on October 3 after contesting for the first time.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, the other three vice presidents Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik and Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, general secretary Mohammad Abu Nayeem Shohag, all the members of the executive committee members and standing committee prayed for the quick recovery of the BFF VP and Kings boss.
