Bangladesh football team head coach Jamie Day Sunday tested Covid-19 positive, ahead of the second Fifa friendly against Nepal Tuesday.
The tests were done on all squad members and coaching staffs Saturday.
The reports of all players and other coaches came negative except that of Day.
The English tactician has given samples for Covid-19 test once again Sunday morning to see if there is any change in the previous report and subsequently missed afternoon's training session.
All the Covid-19 tests of the Nepal team came out as negative.
One of the visiting squad members earlier tested positive and thus missed the first friendly where Bangladesh won 2-0 Friday.
Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin has sought more support from the government to raise the standard of the national team, as well as to progress in the Fifa ranking.

Bangladesh and Nepal are going to face off in the last Fifa friendly of the two-game series at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
While briefing the media, Bangladesh Football Federation general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag said their Qatar tour will go on nevertheless but further plans would be made after Day's latest test report.
The team are expected to fly for Doha Thursday ahead of the rescheduled World Cup qualifying fixture against the Asian champion on December 4.
“Jamie is in isolation. Medical representative visited him after report came positive. They didn’t identify any syndrome. We will be more certain after the following reports. There is another test on the 17th (Tuesday). We hope Jamie can participate in the Qatar game,” said Shohag.
Hopes of Day recovering in time were triggered after one of the Nepal players tested positive before the first friendly but the report altered Sunday, clearing him for the second friendly.
