Bangladesh goalkeeper Shahidul Alam Sohel and winger Arifur Rahman have been ruled out from Tuesday’s second Fifa friendly against Nepal after sustaining injuries.
After Arif Thursday, Sohel too left the national team Saturday which took the total squad member to 30 in the ongoing residential camp, informed a Bangladesh Football Federation official.
Saturday afternoon’s training session was held with 18 players of the squad, excluding all first-XI members of the team hotel with the exception of goalkeeper Anisur Rahman Zico, who made his international debut during the first friendly Friday.
Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin has sought more support from the government to raise the standard of the national team, as well as to progress in the Fifa ranking.

First-choice custodian Ashraful Islam Rana also trained and is almost certain to return to the 23-man final squad for the second friendly after being rested in the previous game.
A total of 36 players were called up for the practice camp.
Winger Matin Mia and midfielder Masuk Mia Jony couldn’t join as they are rehabilitating while center-back Tutul Hossain Badshah and expatriate right-back Tarik Qazi later left the camp due to injury.
