The entire Nepal football team and coaching staff tested Covid-19 negative and will be free to emerge from their quarantine and begin training Sunday, pending the green signal from the Health Directorate.
The Nepal team are here in Bangladesh for two Fifa friendlies, scheduled to be held on November 13 and 17 in Dhaka.
Prior to arriving in Bangladesh, six Nepalese players had to stay back home after testing Covid-19 positive but the Nepal team management will now heave a sigh of relief following the latest round of negative results.
Bal Gopal Maharajan’s charges had to spend three days in quarantine at a city hotel where they underwent stretching exercises to keep themselves in shape for the international friendlies.
