A new journey for Suinu

Suinu, who has already started her work since April, played for the national team during her career, spanning from 2005 to 2014

Bangladesh women's football team’s ex-captain Suinu Pru Marma has been elected as the head of the women's wing of Bangladesh Football Federation. 

Suinu, who has already started her work since April, played for the national team during her career, spanning from 2005 to 2014.

The former midfielder was a member of Bangladesh's bronze medal winning team in the South Asian Games in Dhaka. 

As head of the women's wing, Suinu will look after the players in all the divisions, and will allso will play the role of co-ordinator. She will collect data of the players' problems and what the girls are doing across the country. 

National women's football team coach Golam Rabbani Choton believes Suinu will help to develop the country’s football with her experience. “It will be good if Suinu can use her experience. I hope she can do well in the development of football," Choton said. 

Suinu’s sister, Mainu Pru Marma was also involved in football. In addition to her playing career, she has an AFC "B" coaching license.
