Gemcon emerged as the champion in the Cup category of the second edition of the Dhaka Futsal Cup at the Jaff field in the capital Saturday, while Dhaka Tribune clinched the Bowl category.
Gemcon beat Neo Zipper 2-1 in the Cup final while DT defeated IDCOL 3-0 in the bowl grand finale.
Meanwhile in the Plate category, Bagdoom finished as the champion.
Dhaka Tribune, Jamuna TV and 96.4 Spice FM were the media partners of the two-day-long tournament where a total of 13 teams took part.
“To build the relation between football and corporate people, DFC can be recognized as a nice platform and this tournament would help create fans for our football,” said the organizer Mohammad Nehal Abedin Tonmay.
In closing ceremony, Dhaka Futsal Cup Committee thanked Embassy of Spain, Saif Sporting Club, Dhaka Tribune, Jamuna TV and 96.4 Spice FM for their supports.
