Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society scored one in each half as they beat Police Football Club 2-0 in their Bangladesh Premier League match at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Friday.
The Old Dhaka outfit, who picked up their second league win this season, now have seven points from six matches while Police have five points have played a game less.
Rahmatganj curved out a number of chances before finally taking the lead in the 43rd minute when Turayev Akhobir found the back of the net from Sanwar’s pass.
Police had some opportunities to equalize with Luka Rotkovic coming closest in the 71st minute but he missed the chance from Shadhin’s cross.
Rahmatganj doubled their lead in injury time and sealed all three points when Sanwar scored after Nigerian Igi Kastan’s shot came back off the goalkeeper.
