Abahani Limited’s national team center-back Tutul Hossain Badshah has recovered from illness and returned to training after a three-day absence, ahead of the return leg of the AFC Cup 2020 pre-qualifying play-off against Maldives champion Maziya Sports and Recreation Club in Male Wednesday.
The Sky Blues arrived in the Maldives capital Sunday before their first training session there at an artificial turf Monday afternoon.
Badshah, who was on the bench for the first leg as he was not fully fit, participated in the session.
“Badshah joined training after three days. I think there is a big chance for him to play,” said Abahani head coach Mario Lemos after the training session.
