Eight district teams along with one service side out of a total of 10 sealed their qualification for the final round of the Bangabandhu National Championship 2020, which is taking place after a span of 13 years.
Satkhira, Rangpur, Pabna, Comilla, Cox’s Bazar, Khulna, Netrokona and Sylhet became champions in their respective zonal rounds while BKSP reached the final after beating Comilla Education Board 3-2 in the semi-final of the Seba region.
Two finalists from Seba zone will qualify for the final round.
Chattogram University and Bangladesh Army will take on each other in the other semi-final Friday and the winner will move through.
A total of 78 teams including 63 district teams, service sides, education boards and public universities are participating in the competition.
