Bangladesh U-19 women’s football team and the U-16 men’s football team were felicitated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban in Dhaka Thursday.
The U-19 women footballers were joint champions in the 2019 Bangamata International Gold Cup alongside Laos, while the U-16 men booters emerged as the unbeaten champion in the Uefa Assist U-16 Championship 2019.
A total of 43 footballers from the two teams were each rewarded with Tk3 lakhs.
