A four-member delegation from English football club Manchester United is set to arrive in Dhaka Tuesday, to inspect the ground and facilities ahead of a trip to Bangladesh for a pre-season friendly planned for June 2020.
“Four delegates from Manchester United will come to Dhaka on November 26. They will inspect the ground, facilities and other relevant things, and hold a meeting with the Bangladesh Football Federation,” said BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag Sunday.
BFF is likely to arrange the friendly in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as part of the year-long celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The date and opponent of the friendly has not been finalized yet, as the agent concerned is holding talks with other European clubs such as Serie-A outfit Juventus FC and French giants Paris Saint-Germain FC.
