Midfielder Moinul Islam bagged a brace for the second time in three days as Bangladesh defeated European outfit Faroe Islands 3-1 in their second match of the Uefa Assist U-16 Development Tournament at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Friday.
Moinul had notched a brace against Cambodia Wednesday at the same venue, and repeated his heroics Friday.
He scored in the either side of each half while forward Palash Ahmed netted the other.

Bangladesh went into the half time break with a 1-0 lead after Moinul’s first in the 26th minute.
And although the visiting side brought parity in the 73rd minute, the youngsters in red and green soon retook the lead six minutes later through Palash.
Moinul completed the rout in the fourth minute of time.
Bangladesh, who beat Cambodia 2-0, will take on Maldives in their last group phase game Sunday.
