The Youth and Sports Ministry of Bangladesh is eager to send more age-group footballers to Brazil in order to provide them long-term training opportunities.
The issue was discussed during the celebration of the 197th Independence Day of Brazil in Dhaka.
Bangladesh earlier sent four young booters to the Latin American football nation for a month-long training camp in June-July this year, which inspired the sports ministry to take more initiatives.
Sports Minister Zahid Ahsan Russel was the chief guest of Brazil’s Independence Day event.
@Argentina are likely to visit Bangladesh for the second time in eight years to play a friendly against @Albirroja at Bangabandhu National Stadium on November 18, according to the official Twitter account of the Paraguayan Football Association Tuesdayhttps://t.co/k2S4tdUFSG#AFA

He said, "The four footballers improved their game in only one month in Brazil. If the players have the chance for two-year training camp it will also help football’s development."
Praising the Bangladesh footballers and wishing them a bright future, Joao Tabajara de Oliveira Junior, the ambassador of Brazil pledged to take the issue into consideration if there is any new proposal from the Bangladesh government.
The four booters - Latifur Rahman Nahid, Jogen Larka (U-15), Omar Faruque Mithu and Nazmul Akand (U-17) - were also present on the occasion.
