Rangpur emerged as the champion in the JFA U-14 National Women’s Football Championship 2019 after the grand finale of the final round Friday at Bir Sreshtha Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka.
Rangpur beat Mymensingh 4-2 on penalties after the regulation time failed to see any goals.
Rangpur got Tk50,000 while Mymensingh received Tk25,000.

Magura were rewarded with the fair play award while the winning team’s Shamima Akhter Shila finished as the highest goal-scorer with eight strikes.
Shila also took home the MVP award while Magura’s Anika Tanjum was named the most promising young player.
Mymensingh venue was named the best stadia from the first round.
