Swadhin Bangla Football Team member Haji Abdul Khalek breathed his last Friday midnight at his residence in Satkhira.
He was 75.
Khalek left behind his wife, five sons, three daughters and countless well-wishers.
He was placed to eternal rest Saturday at Bharukhali in Mahmudpur after the johr prayers.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, senior vice present, vice president, general secretary and other officials expressed deep sadness at the passing away of Khalek and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul.
