The Bangladesh Football Federation has introduced three British coaches for the BFF-Fortis Football Academy at BFF House Thursday in order to guide the national youth team players under long-term training camp.
Andrew Peter Turner joined as the lead academy coach and will look after U-14 and U-16 side, along with Robert Mimms, who joined as goalkeeping coach, while Rob Marin Ryles also joined as national youth coach.
National assistant coach Stuart Watkiss also joined the troop as U-19 coach.
A one-year contract with the BFF with the presence of the coaches was held at BFF House Thursday.
Turner and Mimms have the experience of playing for English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
Ryles has the experience of working with England youth squad and English Premier League outfit Everton.

BFF’s technical and strategic director Paul Smalley introduced the new coaches.
“We have brought some foreign expertise to the componential of the Bangladesh local expertise who have also been working at the academy,” Smalley said before adding, “They have top qualification both in senior performance football as well as development football.”
Turner said, “I played professional football in England for many years and was lucky to play the at the Premier League at the age of 17. I have been successful at the young age and I know how to keep the best opportunity for the young players.”
Rob said, “I have been blasted the opportunity in England and traveled world with English international teams and hopefully I will be able to bring the education, experiences and the development boost that make the technically good, professionally good attitude players.”
Meanwhile, the BFF started their joint academy project using the ground of Fortis Group in Dhaka’s Beraid and financial support from K-Sports with a total 60 young footballers, including 32 U-15 and 28 U-18 footballers on April 6.
