Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited earned a point in head coach Shaun Lane’s first game in charge as they held Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra to a last-gasp 1-1 draw at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj Friday.
The first half ended goalless and it was the Muktis who went ahead in the 68th minute through Ivory Coast forward Ballo Famoussa, who connected a pass from Japanese midfielder Yusuf Kato.
Just when it appeared Muktijoddha would condemn Mohammedan to their fourth consecutive defeat, the traditional Black and Whites brought parity in the dying stages of the game.
