Premier League resumes Saturday

Brothers Union will lock horns with Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society at 6pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, while Nofel Sporting Club will take on Saif Sporting Club at 3pm in Mymensingh’s Rafiquddin Stadium

The Bangladesh Premier Football League will resume Saturday following a break of one month due to the national senior team and U-23 side’s commitments.

Brothers Union will lock horns with Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society at 6pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, while Nofel Sporting Club will take on Saif Sporting Club at 3pm in Mymensingh’s Rafiquddin Stadium.

Bashundhara Kings are at the top of points table with 25 points from nine matches, while reigning champion Abahani Limited are second with a point less and having played a game more.

Darkhorse Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra are third with 20 points from nine matches but fading powerhouse Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited are down at 11th with just five points from nine games.

The first phase of the league is supposed to end on April 20.
