Ahead of their AFC Cup opener against Nepal’s Manang Marsiangdi Wednesday in Kathmandu, Bangladesh Premier League and Federation Cup holder Abahani Limited have bolstered their squad with the addition of Brazilian Wellington Priori.
The 29-year old Priori played for Indian Super League franchises North East United and Jamshedpur in 2016 and 2018 respectively, before featuring for Malaysia’s Perlis Northern Lions Club.
Priori replaces South Korean midfielder Min-Hyeok Ko in the Sky Blues’ squad.
Abahani’s other foreign recruits are Afghanistan defender Masai Saigani, Haitian forward Kervens Belfort and Nigerian striker Sunday Chizoba.
