A two-day long tournament called Dhaka Futsal Cup 2019, Corporate Futsal Cup will be held Friday and Saturday at JAFF indoor futsal ground near Bashundhara main gate, said a press release of the tournament’s organising committee.
Spanish ambassador to Bangladesh, Spanish ambassador lvaro de Salas Giménez de Azcárate and Engineer Mohammad Nasiruddin Chowdhury Deputy Managing Director Saif Powertec Limited will be present in the opening day of the tournament as chief guests.
A total of 16 teams will take part in the competition in the Cup, Plate and Bowl segments.
During the press conference and fixture draw event, one representative from each participating team was present.
Iqbal Haider Galib, Mohammad Nehal Abedin Tonmay, Mohammad Shihab and Rasheduzzaman Warsi hosted the event where they discussed about the tournament format and fixture timings.
The team group formation was done by picking up team names by attended participants from a lottery bowl.
The organising committee thanked the sponsors and partners - Saif Powertec, US Bangla, Radio Dhoni, Jamuna TV, Dhaka Tribune, GN Sports, Spanish Embassy and JAFF during the event.
