Comfit Composit Knit Limited and Apparels won their respective matches on the second day of the BGMEA Cup Football Tournament Friday at the astro-turf of Uttara International Hope School Bangladesh.
In the first game of the day, Apparels edged Versatile 2-1 with player of the match Rashedul bagging a brace for the winning side and Rinku scoring the consolation goal.
In the second game, Musk and Empire played out a goalless draw.
In the third match, holder Comfit thrashed Ali Garments 4-0 with man of the match Raju grabbing a hat-trick and Rajib scoring the other.

In the fourth game, Apparels thumped Tusca 6-2.
Apparels’ Rashedul and Darpan netted two goals apiece while Mosaddek and Samir notched one each.
Opu and Taher scored one each for Tusca.
In the fifth and penultimate match, Fortiz and Epyllion fired blanks while in the sixth and final game, Comfit beat Sterling 3-0 with Abdullah scoring twice and Sajal netting once.
