The second tier Bangladesh Championship League will get underway Sunday with the participation of 11 teams at Bir Sreshtha Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka.
In the opening match at 3pm, Farashganj Sporting Club will lock horns with Dhaka City Football Club.
The other teams are Victoria SC, Wari Club, Young Men’s Club Fakirerpool, Shadhinota Krira Sangha, T&T Club, Agrani Bank SC, Uttar Baridhara, Feni Soccer Club and Bangladesh Police FC.
BFF senior vice president and chairman of the professional league committee, Abdus Salam Murshedy will inaugurate the competition as the chief guest.
