Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra clinched a five-goal thriller against Brothers Union in the Bangladesh Premier League as the former prevailed 3-2 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Friday night.
The Gopibagh outfit went ahead in the 11th minute from a penalty, Brazilian forward Leonardo Lima making no mistake after he was fouled by Nigerian defender Alison Udoka inside the box.
The joy however, lasted only one minute as Sheikh Russel equalised through Nigerian forward Rafael Odoyin.
Odoyin headed home after a header from midfielder Sohel Rana on a long throw-in from defender Bishwanath Ghosh.
Zahid Hossain was below-par in the two season opening tournaments but he finally came to the limelight with a hat-trick in the Bangladesh Premier League as his side Arambagh thrashed Mohammedan 4-1 at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh Friday.https://t.co/Jd9Ssng1Ku#BPL

Odoyin made it 2-1 in the 20th minute when he beat onrushing goalkeeper Biplob Bhattacharjee from a long throw from Uzbekistan forward Azizov Alisher.
Brothers though again brought parity, in the 37th minute, Lima bagging his brace with a fine shot after brilliantly controlling a long ball from midfielder Mannaf Rabby.
The winning goal came in the 77th minute, but it was an own strike by Brothers.
Defender Ashraful Karim turned out to be the culprit as he tried to clear a free-kick from Brazilian forward Alex Rafael de Silva, only to head into his own net.
