Real Madrid close to an agreement with Icardi
Inter striker Mauro Icardi is on the verge of agreeing terms on a move to Real Madrid, Don Balon claims.
The Argentine centre-forward is set to sign a six-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and will become one of the club's highest earners.

Herrera still wants contract with Man Utd
Ander Herrera remains in contract talks with Manchester United and is happy to continue looking for a solution with the Premier League club despite interest from Athletic Bilbao, Sky Sports reports.
The midfielder is thought to be enjoying life at Old Trafford but has been free to talk to other teams since January 1.
Simeone coy on Morata links
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone was coy when asked about his club’s interest in disgruntled Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata, saying he could not “confirm or deny anything” about the transfer market.
Goal.com reported on Wednesday that Atletico had joined the race to sign the forward, with the sides set to discuss a possible loan deal in the coming days.

Cagliari sign Slovenian Birsa
Slovenian international winger Valter Birsa has signed for Cagliari from Serie A bottom team Chievo, his new Italian club confirmed Wednesday.
The 32-year-old, who has spent the last three years in Verona, agreed a deal until June 30, 2021.
