Fabregas to Monaco could happen today

The Chelsea man looks to have played his to have played his last match for the Blues and is set for a move to Monaco.

Csec Fabregas could be announced as a Monaco player today, as reprted by L’Equippe.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona man bid an emotional farewell to English football on Saturday in Chelsea’s FA Cup win against Nottingham Forest.

Fabregas all but confirmed after the game that he will be joining Monaco and claimed: “everyone knows the situation.”

Denis Suarez set for Arsenal move

Arsenal have opened talks with Barcelona over Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez and are hopeful of signing the 24-year-old in the January transfer window according to the Observer.

But Gunners manager Unai Emery also wants to sign a defender and a winger reports the Mail on Sunday.

Barca confident of De Jong signing

Barcelona are confident of beating PSG to the signing of Frenkie De Jong from Ajax, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho turned down a chance to secure an immediate return to coaching in his home country with Benfica, reports Record.

The 55-year-old was dismissed last month from Old Trafford after a run of mixed form, but has since declined the offer to take the reins at the Primeira Liga outfit.
