Bangamata U-19 Int’l Football to kick off in March

The BFF supremo said his target would be to arrange more international tournaments this year, and lend assistance to the clubs and districts across the country

The inaugural Bangamata U-19 International Football Competition will kick off in March this year with the participation of six teams, including host Bangladesh.

BFF president Kazi Salahuddin said this to the media Tuesday.

He added, “We organise the Bangabandhu Gold Cup for the men. Now we will introduce a new tournament for the women.”

The BFF boss continued, “Our national teams will train abroad this year. I am giving importance to their competitive matches. But not only me, everyone has to understand the importance of the national team. It is possible to send the national team to Qatar, Japan and South Korea for two weeks for the purpose of training.”

The BFF supremo said his target would be to arrange more international tournaments this year, and lend assistance to the clubs and districts across the country.

Salahuddin also expressed hope of starting the BFF Academy activities next month.
