December 3, 2018 - The prestigious Ballon d’Or 2018 ceremony takes place, an annual football award presented by France Football. The 30-man shortlist for the 2018 Ballon d’Or includes eight players from Real Madrid. Perennial winners Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, each with five awards, are also nominated. Players in the running to scoop the prestigious award also include Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Paris St. Germain’s teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe.
