The final was the only game in the tournament that needed tie-breaker where TC Sports keeper Limbu stole the show with two lovely saves.
Pocheon captain Cho Tae Woo took the first penalty that was saved by Limbu. The Nepalese custodian's second save was even better as he denied Pocheon's fourth penalty, taken by Ko Ji Man.
This was the first time both the finalists participated in any international tournament outside their own country. And the determination shown by the players from both sides was clearly evident.
The two sides faced each other once before in the group stage as it ended in a 1-1 draw. But Friday's encounter was arguably one of the most entertaining games in the tournament. The tie also saw a record number of spectators. With that said, nearly one-third of the gallery was empty.
