A 23-member Bangladesh U-15 national women's team reached in Bhutan's capital Thimphu on Monday morning ahead of their Saff U-15 Women's Championship campaign scheduled to kick off on Thursday.
Representative from the embassy of Bangladesh at Bhutan and the officials of Bhutan Football Federation received the defending champions at the Paro Airport, according to a press release of BFF.
Bangladesh are the first team among the participants to reach the hosts country. The team was accommodated at the Ariya Hotel in the capital's Olakha area. They were scheduled to have a light warm-up session at the tournament venue Changlimithang stadium in the evening.
Meanwhile, the U-15 girls will begin their Group B campaign against Pakistan on August 9 before facing Nepal in the last group match on August 13.
