BDNews24, Samay TV, Banik Barta and New Nation bagged wins in their respective matches of the Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community Media Cup Football 2018 Sunday.
BDNews24 defeated Naya Dingata 4-0 in the first game of the day at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in Dhaka. Abdullah Shafi and Maidul Islam scored thrice and once respectively for BDNews24.
The game between The Daily Star and Jago News 24 ended in a goalless draw while in the third match, Samay TV bagged a 5-0 victory against ATN News.
In the fourth game, Banik Barta won 1-0 against Channel 24 while the fifth match between Maasranga TV and Manabzamin finished in a goalless draw.
New Nation as per the by-laws registered a 2-0 win over News 24 after the latter failed to report at the field for the game.
