JFA U-14 Women’s Football semis Sunday

The semi-finals of the JFA U-14 Women’s Football Championship 2018 will be held at Bir Sreshtha Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Kamalapur Stadium in Dhaka Sunday. In the first semi-final, Khulna will face Thakurgaon at 2pm while Tangail will lock horn with Rangpur in the second last four-clash at 3:45pm. Earlier Saturday at the same venue, Thakurgaon beat Magura 3-0 with Kakuli, Kolpona and Ayrin scoring in the 48th, 50th and 58th minute respectively. In the second match of the day, Tangail defeated Rajshahi 4-0 with Rehana bagging a brace, scoring in the 35th and 70th minute. Mahfuza and Shaheda netted in the 22nd and 37th minute.

The group stage matches concluded Saturday. The final will be held Tuesday. The champion will receive Tk50,000 while the runners-up side will get Tk25,000. The participating teams of the final round will each pocket Tk20,000. The zonal round of the championship took place from April 24-27 this year. The six zonal champions, along with the two best runners-up sides qualified for the final round.
