Walton Group Thursday felicitated the Bangladesh U-15 team for their title winning success at the four-nation Jockey Club Girls' International Invitational Football Tournament in Hong Kong.
Walton Group's senior operative director FM Iqbal bin Anwar, BFF's women's wing committee chairman Mahfuza Akter Kiron, general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, team manager Amirul Islam Babu and head coach Golam Rabbani Choton were present among others during the ceremony.
Bangladesh girls emerged as the unbeaten champion after thrashing Malaysia 10-1, Iran 8-1 and host Hong Kong 6-0, scoring a total of 24 goals and conceding only twice.
Bangladesh attacker Tahura Khatun finished as the highest scorer in the tournament while Shamsunnahar was adjudged player of the tournament.
