Doharo Government Primary School from Jhenaidah’s Shailkupa upazila pose for photographs after winning the Bangamata Gold Cup in Dhaka Wednesday BFFNo other school from the southern part of the country ever managed to reach the final in any of the last seven editions before. Doharo's Tahmina Khatun Unnoti finished as the top-scorer of the tournament with seven goals while Sawralika Parvin of Bhurangamari School of Rangpur was adjudged the best player of the event. Meanwhile in the boys' version, in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup final, Purba Ujantia Government Primary School defeated Bhulbaria Government Primary School of Sathia, Pabna 2-1, thanks to Ainul Karim's winning goal in extra-time. Rifat Mia’s long-range strike broke the deadlock in the added time of the first half before Atiar Rahman leveled the margin in the 49th minute. Bhulbaria's Shihab Uddin became the best player of the tournament.
