The much awaited finals of the Bangabandhu and Bangamata Gold Cup will take place Wednesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be present during the occasion as the chief guest. In the Bangabandhu Gold Cup final, Bhulbaria Government Primary School of Pabna will face off against Cox's Bazar's Pekua East Ujantia School.

Meanwhile in the final of the Bangamata Gold Cup, Doharo Government Primary School of Shailkupa will take on Mymensingh's Pocharukhi Government School. A total of 64,688 schools took part in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup, including as many as 10,99,696 students while in the Bangamata Gold Cup, 10,99,611 students participated. BFF president Kazi Salahuddin said, "This is a milestone in the history of this country (participation of more than 20,00,000 students). Credit must be given to the organisers."
