LaLiga sends Bangladesh regards on Independence Day

Spain’s premier football league LaLiga Monday posted a picture of Bangladesh flag on their Facebook page with the message "Happy Independence Day". Bangladesh is celebrating its 48th Independence Day Monday and Spain's top-flight league took the opportunity to wish its fans with the post that was put up at around 11am.

The football fans in Bangladesh are keen followers of the Spanish La Liga, especially its leading clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona. Earlier on March 13 this year, the LaLiga had also posted a picture of Bangladesh flag where it expressed grief over the unfortunate accident at Tribhuvan International Airport when an US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and caught fire, claiming several lives and injuring the others.
