Bangladesh begin Thailand tour with defeat

A last-gasp goal saw Bangladesh team concede a narrow 1-0 defeat against Thailand premier league side Ratchaburi Mitr Phol Football Club in their first warm-up match at Mitr Phol Stadium Ratchaburi Wednesday. The men in red and green were closing towards a goalless draw before former Thai forward Sompong Soleb broke the deadlock in the 89th minute of the game. Ratchaburi have been playing in the Thai top division since 2013 and finished sixth out of 18 teams last time around.
