The boys’ semi-final will also be held Wednesday as Chittagong face off against Dhaka while in the second event, Rajshahi and Sylhet will go head to head. The final of the boys’ event will also be held on the same day.
HockeyDhaka and Khulna confirmed their berths in girls' hockey. In the first semi-final, Khulna won 4-0 against Rajshahi while Dhaka beat Rangpur 3-2 in the second match. The boys’ hockey finalists are Rangpur and Rajshahi. Rangpur beat Dhaka 2-1 while Rajshahi won against Chittagong 5-0.
BadmintonIn the girls’ badminton event, Urmi Akhter from Khulna won both the singles and doubles. She beat Sylhet’s Zerin 21-10, 21-4 to win the singles title in straight sets. BoxingIn the girls’ 48kg boxing event, Rajshahi’s Fatema Akhter beat Dhaka’s Jamuna Akhter to clinch gold. In the boys’ 49kg final, Anik Hawladar beat Abir Rahman while in the 52kg final, Abu Talha beat Abdur Razzak. All boxers hail from Rajshahi.
