Bangladesh U-14 lose in Super Mokh Cup

Update : 15 Dec 2016, 01:17 AM
Bangladesh under-14 football team exited in the group stages of the ongoing Super Mokh Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after losing to Japan's Kawasaki Frontal 2-1 on Wednesday. As a result, the kids in red and green failed to make it into the cup knockouts and now find themselves in the plate competition. At the Selangor TSI Sports arena, Bangladesh fell behind in just the second minute with Kawasaki's Yuma Igari bagging the goal following a mistake by Miraz Mollah. Arif Hossain brought parity in the 17th minute with a brilliant strike. Igari though netted the winner in the second half and thanks to Bangladesh goalkeeper Emon Hawlader, the Japanese outfit failed to add to their scoreline. Miraz's day turned from bad to worse as he was sent off in the 69th minute. Earlier in the tournament, Bangladesh lost to hosts Malaysia 1-0 before beating Indonesia 3-2.
