The energetic Bangladesh side are looking to seal a top two finish in Group A as they face a depleted Bhutan in their second AFC Under-19 Qualifiers today.
The comfortable 2-0 winning start to the campaign eased the pressure on the home side and another win today at the Bangabandhu National Stadium at 6pm will ensure the home side's target before facing favourites Uzbekistan, who blew away Bhutan by seven goals on the opening day.
Bangladesh will also have the competitive advantage as they had beaten Bhutan 2-0 in the Saff Championships couple months back, although coach Saiful Bari Titu said, “Two players from Bhutan's national team joined their U19 side who were not in the squad in Saff Championship.”
Titu, before their training session at the Dhanmondi Club ground yesterday, also added, “Sri Lanka played defensive against us but we expect little bit more pressing football from Bhutan. I have to concentrate on my team more so that we can dominate the game, possession and create scoring chances and score as well.”
