The final round of the Sailor-BFF National Under-15 Football Championship 2015 will get underway this Sunday with the opening game between Dhaka and Jessore district at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Narayanganj will take on Thakurgaon district in the inaugural day’s other match at the Abahani ground in Dhanmondi.
The itinerary was given out in a draw ceremony at BFF House yesterday in the presence of former and current national footballers.
Eight teams qualified from the first round and will take part in the event alongside Dhaka, Narayanganj, Thakurgaon and Jessore in Group A while Group B comprises Sylhet, Barisal, Feni and Natore.
BFF vice president and chairman of the development committee, Badal Roy, and director of Epyllion Group, Mohammad Junaid Abu Salay Musa, were present among others during the occasion.
A total of 61 district teams took part in the first round of the tournament, among which eight regional champions made it to the final round.
