After a most successful adventure in the World Cup 2015, Bangladesh Cricket Team has secured their top position in people from all walks of life’s mind. The tigers had also received a heroic welcome when they returned to the country in last month.
In this succession, Chittagong Bibhagio Krira Sanstha and Chittagong Jila Krira Sanstha (CJKS) will be honored and accorded reception to the Bangladesh Cricket team to celebrate tigers’ journey and achievement in Chittagong city on Friday.
Chittagong Bibhagio Krira Sanstha and Chittagong Jila Krira Sanstha jointly organised the reception programme at the Outer Stadium of MA Aziz Stadium in the city’s Kazir Dewri area to welcome the tigers.
Addressing at a press conference in this regard convener of organising committee Sirajuddin Md Alamgir Wednesday said playing in the quarter-final is the remarkable achievement in the Bangladesh cricket history.
The press conference was held at the premises of Chittagong Bibhagio Krira Sanstha at around 1pm where Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB)’s vice-president, president of Bangladesh Jila and Bibhagio Krira Songothok Parishad and CJKS’s general secretary AJM Nasir Uddin addressed the programme.
“All the players of the national cricket team exclude Sakib Al Hasan as he is in India are scheduled to attend at the reception programme where BCB’s Nazmul Hasan Papon will present as the chief guest along with the directors of BCB,” said Sirajuddin.
Construction Company Max Group has carried out all the finance of the programme while the programme is featured by different cultural programme performed by local artists, said the programme organisers.
Bibhagio Krira Sanstha’s vice-president Ali Abbas presided over the press conference while the ogranisers and other concerned persons were present.
