Abul Kalam, a Saudi Arabia immigrant currently enjoying his vacation in Bangladesh, was named the lucky winner of the LG-Butterfly “Fat is good-Free Australia Trip”, a ICC cricket World Cup customer promotional campaign, yesterday. Abul will get free match tickets along with return tickets and accommodation from LG.
Meanwhile, Nazma Akter came second in the contest and she, along with the third-place winner, will receive return air tickets and match tickets of the World Cup in Australia.
A total of 54 winners were selected from the campaign with 51 of them receiving the match tickets of the premium cricket tournament in the world. The campaign will have another two phases before the conclusion of the event.
The prize distribution ceremony was held at the City Centre in the presence of MA Mannan, the chairman and managing director of LG, who handed over the prizes to the winners. Also present during the event were Mustafizur Rahman Shazid, director of sales and marketing, Mahbub-ur Rahman Shajib, director of operations, Mahbubul Haque Sufyani, executive director, Mostafa Kamal Ahmed, CFO and M Tanvir Alam, creative manager. The LG-Butterfly campaign will run till February 15.
