US ambassador chips in a salute too

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat congratulated the Tigers on their historic Test win over England with a salute to top it off along with the country that has taken to Shakib's gesture to heart.The combined effort of the Bangladesh cricket team won the match by taking out the English on just the third day of the game. Ben Stokes, who had riled up a lot of folks with his actions on the pitch – specifically complaining about Bangladesh excessively celebrating his wicket in the ODI series – was shown the way to the bleachers by Shakib Al Hasan.

Shakib saluted Stokes as he walked off the crease, marking the second time a bowler has taunted the British player off. The salute was the perfect response to Stokes who took it and the defeat in stride.
