Mahmudullah issued NOC for CPL T20

Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah has been issued the No Objection Certificate by the BCB to participate in the CPL T20. It is understood that the BCB issued the NOC on Sunday evening. He has been signed by franchise Jamaica Tallawahs for the remainder of the tournament, which is scheduled to have its final on September 9. Mahmudullah was overlooked for the first Test match against Australia at home and is unlikely to be recalled for the second and final Test as well.

The BCB has issued Mahmudullah the NOC till September 10. The 31-year-old will leave Dhaka on Monday and will be available for Jamaica’s home game against Saint Lucia Stars on Friday. Mahmudullah is seen as the replacement of another Bangladesh all-rounder, Shakib al Hasan, who played the initial stage of the tournament for Jamaica earlier this month. Shakib, who played three matches for Jamaica, returned home last week to join the Tigers ahead of the Mirpur Test.
