The practice is common for CA to send a delegation to assess the arrangement of the host country, days before its cricket team’s arrival. The first Test starts from August 27. The two-member CA delegation, involving anti corruption and security unit manager Sean Carroll and security manager Frank Dimasi will inspect the probable venues for the two-day warm-up game of the visiting side.

The initial venue for the match, Fatullah’s Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium fell into limbo due to severe warterlogging issue. This forced the BCB to propose BKSP, Sylhet and University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh’s ground as venues for the tour game. Sylhet was ruled out as an option earlier. It is understood that the CA delegates will inspect Fatullah, BKSP and ULAB ground on Wednesday.
